The Polymers – Retail Business was established in 2008; it is the retail segment of the Polymers Business. The Business markets and sells its products under the brand name of Lapox. The brand has a pan Indian presence and is available at most retail outlets – hardware, paint, power tools, plywood, electrical, sanitary and tile. In 2010, Atul acquired a brand called Polygrip, to market synthetic rubber and polyurethane based rubber adhesives in India. The brand Lacare was launched in 2017 with a range of new maintenance products for automobile, industrial use and common household applications. The research and manufacturing facilities are located in Atul, Gujarat. With a portfolio of 70 products, Polymers – Retail serves 15,000+ retailers through 500+ distributors across India. These products are mainly used by customers for applications such as automobile maintenance, bangle making, construction chemicals, handicraft making, furniture, foam and furnishing, footwear, HVAC, stone care and processing and sports goods. The Business is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
